The 2016 edition of GDR NanoTeraMIR will be associated with the DIM Nano-K program and take place on 24th and 25th November 2016. The workshop will take place in Paris at the Ecole Normale Supérieure (Salle Dussane, 45 rue d’Ulm).
The workshop themes will cover a large range of scientific and technological subjects with an aim to stimulate exchanges and interactions on the application of nanosciences to the MIR and THz domains. In particular, but not limited to :
Generation of THz and MIR radiation (solid states, gas phase, fibres …)
Detection of THz and MIR radiation
New materials for these spectral ranges
New functionalities with the application of nanostructures
